Pine Tree Center Visitor Policies

- Please inform the Ranger if your check‑in or check‑out time is different from your reservation.
- Report any issues, concerns, or accidents to the Ranger as soon as possible.

- Be considerate of all visitors enjoying the preserve.
- Quiet hours are from 10:00 PM to 7:00 AM.Children under 14 must always be supervised by an adult.

Pets are not permitted without prior approval. Permission is granted or denied at the sole discretion of Pinelands Adventures.

- All fires must be in designated fire pits or grills only.
- The Ranger may restrict or prohibit fires during unsafe conditions—please check with them before starting a fire.
- Only local firewood may be brought onto the property.
- Use dead, fallen wood only; do not cut or damage live trees or plants.

- No alcohol, smoking, or vaping anywhere on the property.
- No firearms or weapons of any kind.
- No chainsaws, fireworks, drones, paintball, air guns, slingshots, or archery equipment (unless specifically approved as part of your rental).
- No swimming or boating on the pond without prior Ranger approval.
- Motorized vehicles are not allowed beyond the driveway and parking lot unless the Ranger gives permission.

- Keep all food and trash secure—wildlife is common in the area.
- Do not feed, approach, or disturb wild animals.
- Stay on designated trails to protect plants and habitats.

- Keep all cabins, buildings, and campsites clean and tidy.
- Dispose of trash in designated bins and take full bags to the dumpster when they are full or before you leave.
- Do not leave trash outside overnight—this attracts wildlife.

- Only enter buildings that are included in your rental agreement.
- The Labs, Barn, and Ranger’s House are off limits without permission.

- No overnight parking or storage of trailers, boats, jet skis, or utility trailers.

- Please respect our neighbors and do not trespass on adjacent properties.

- The Ranger may ask visitors to leave the property if policies are not followed.
Cancellations
We know that plans can change, and we do our best to be flexible. Below is a quick overview of how cancellations work for different types of reservations at Pine Tree Center.

Your safety always comes first. In rare cases, we may need to cancel reservations due to extreme weather, wildfire risk, facility damage, or essential safety repairs.
If any of these situations make your reserved space unavailable:- You’ll receive a full refund, and
- We’ll work with you to reschedule your stay for another date that works for you.

Cancellation windows vary depending on what you’ve reserved:
Entire Camp Rental
- Full refund if canceled 60 days or more before arrival
- Cancellations made within 60 days of arrival will result in loss of the full deposit
Individual Buildings & Cabins
- Full refund or the option to rebook with at least 14 days’ notice
Campsites
- Full refund or the option to rebook with at least 48 hours’ notice
If a reservation is canceled after the noted timeframes (60 / 14 / 2 days), the deposit is forfeited.
